Are you licensed in the State of Arizona? 

In order to acquire an Arizona plumbers license, you will need to pass two exams. All Candidates are required to take and pass a Business Management Examination. and the Trade Exam. Apart from the required Exams, you will also need to have at least 4 years of experience in the field.

Arizona requires 4 years of verifiable in the field plumbing experience before you can even apply for a license.

Do you Have Insurance?

It’s important to know what their hours of operations are, and if there is after hour or emergency rate. If it’s something that can wait, it’s often best to schedule your plumber to come out during normal business hours. 

Pro-tip, don’t call the dispatch at 2:00 AM for a non-emergency call. Nobody loves being woke up in the middle of the night, for a call that could have waited for the morning.

Without actually coming out to the home and evaluating the issues, there is no real way to provide an exact number. However, once you’ve agreed on the project cost – it’s completely ok to ask for a breakdown of charges.
